About Us
The Coalition for Responsible Community Development was founded in 2005 to improve the quality of life in South Los Angeles through a comprehensive approach to neighborhood-based services.
In 2022, CRCD launched the Southeast Los Angeles BusinessSource Center to serve area businesses and foster economic development. South Los Angeles will experience billions of dollars of investment in the next ten years, including the 2028 Summer Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Lucas Museum, SoFi Stadium, along with significant retail and housing developments. CRCD will ensure that there is a public and moral commitment that new developments will serve the current residents of the region by contributing to opportunities for small business growth, affordable housing, and by sustaining legacy businesses while supporting new economic development.

South Los Angeles will experience billions of dollars of investment in the next ten years, including the opening of Metro’s Creshaw/LAX Transit Corridor, the 2028 Summer Olympics, Lucas Museum, SoFi Stadium, along with significant retail and housing development. CRCD will ensure that there is a public, political, and moral commitment that new development will serve the current residents of the region contributing to opportunities for growth and affordable housing, and to sustaining legacy businesses while supporting new economic development.
